HOLIDAY CONCERT

Mark your calendars now for our annual Holiday Concert! December 18 at UNO and December 19 in Baton Rouge! Click on the "Upcoming Events" link at the left for more info!

STAGE!

Thanks so much for your attendance and support at our summer extravaganza entitled "STAGE!" We hope you enjoyed our tribute to the great musicals, operas, and divas that make live performances so great!

VALENTINES CONCERT

Congratulations to our director, chorus, officers, and friends on our recent Valentines Concert. Gratitude is extended to all who attended our musical love fest. A wide variety of music was featured on the program such as our men's chorus singing George and Ira Gershwin's "Embraceable You" to a quartet from our chorus performing "Senza Catene", the Italian version of "Unchained Melody" recorded by the Righteous Brothers.

NOGMC is a community leader!

NOGMC is proud to be the recipient of The Forum for Equality's Chair Award for 2008! This recognition means so much to us because it recognizes our community serice and support as a vital part of our mission. (To see our Mission Statement, click on the "Our History" link at the left.) NOGMC is so grateful to The Forum for Equality for this honor!

GALA 2008

We had a great time at GALA Festival 8! We performed selections from our HOME concert to a packed house on July 13. Our VP Kelly Kerr delivered a very emotional speech thanking GALA for their support with our recovery efforts. If you were at GALA and would like to provide them feedback, please click here. (NOGMC is a charter member of GALA.)

NOGMC Does It Again!

For the third year in a row the New Orleans Gay Men's Chorus has been the proud recipient of the Gay Appreciation Award(GAA) committee's Performing Arts Award.

Through our musical concerts and community efforts, the GLBT community has seen fit to bestow this honor upon us for 2006, 2007, and 2008. What makes this award so special and meaningful to us is that it is an award voted on by the popular vote of the people in our community, sort of like the People's Choice Awards.

NOGMC is very grateful to the community for their continued support going on now for 27 years.

Board Meeting

The Board typically meets the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 p.m. in the Lesbian and Gay Community Center of New Orleans. Call for details.
