The New Orleans Gay Men's Chorus is always looking for interested men with any or no singing experience to join us. At our rehearsals we work hard to bring out the best in each voice and put together the best concert we can. We have a lot of fun while doing it.

We hold rehearsals in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge. New Orleans rehearsals occur on Tuesday evenings, and Baton Rouge, on Thursday. We meet from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
Directions to our New Orleans rehearsal location
We rehearse on the second floor, room 203 of the UNO Performing Arts Center. To get there, travel north (lakebound) on Elysian Fields Ave, turn left on Leon C Simon Dr, then take the second right onto Milneburg Rd. The Performing Arts Center is the first major building on the left-hand side that you will see. There are parking lots in the front and rear of the building.

Directions to our Baton Rouge rehearsal location
We rehearse at The University Presbyterian Church, 3240 Dalrymple Dr. The choir room is located near the rear of the church, between the buildings connected by a breeze-way.
From I-10 westbound, take the Dalrymple Dr exit. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right on Dalrymple. After crossing a lake there is a traffic light (E State St). Just beyond the light is the entrance to the church's parking lot. You can either park there and walk around the back of the building or take the drive between the Presbyterian and Methodist churches.
From I-10 eastbound take the Dalrymple exit (156b). At the end of the long ramp turn right on Dalrymple Dr and follow the directions above.
Using city streets
- North of LSU, take 19th St-Park Blvd-Dalrymple Dr south toward campus. Church is on the right half a block past the light at E State St.
- South of LSU, take Highland Road north through campus to last light before the gate (churches on two corners). Turn right -- that's Dalrymple. Pass the frat houses. There are two churches on the left after a curve and before a traffic light. Turn in between them and park.
- East of campus, take Perkins Road to Stanford Ave (a continuation of S Acadian Thwy). Go south to the light at Morning Glory. Turn right in front of the Episcopal church and proceed until you reach the lake. Turn left, then follow the gentle curve right across the lake. Turn left on Dalrymple just across the lake. Follow directions above down Dalrymple to the church.
