Cedric Bridges, Artistic Director
Mr. Bridges holds degrees from both Southeastern Louisiana and Tulane Universities. He has performed with numerous opera companies including Houston Grand Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, and New Orleans Opera. He has also appeared with the Baton Rouge Symphony and the Louisiana Philharmonic. Recent performances include Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem with the LSU Symphony Orchestra, Tartuffe with the SLU Opera Theatre, and Salome with New Orleans Opera.
Mr.Bridges was the 1992 District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions and was the recipient of the 2002 Larry Potts Spirit of Celebration Award at the MCC Spirit Awards Reception. In addition to his position with the New Orleans Gay Men’s Chorus, Mr. Bridges is a member of the professional choir at Temple Sinai.
